Haven't been to Slap Ya Momma's since they moved into their new digs. It's still great! Best brisket ever.
Just wanted to update since sometimes things don't always stay the same when a restaurant moves. -

We have lived in the area for a little over 2 years now and finally decided to give this place a go. My teenage son is on a huge BBQ kick right now and has been begging to go... so we did! We were seated quickly and had a huge table for our party of 6 but hey I'm not complaining about a little more elbow room! Our waitress was at our table quickly and everyone got regular drinks, I got a blue moon on tap (which came in a huge glass btw). The bar ended up bringing me a second one (error on their part) but again, not really complaining about a second beer with my Q!!! I got the hog fries (and a side of coleslaw) and the rest of the table got either sandwiches or plates. I dumped my slaw on those fries and boy oh boy... I could live on those fries for life! Lol! Everyone else noted that their food was good, nothing spectacular but good and definitely not bad!
Only knicked a star because I feel like the food is generally overpriced. I mean I do know that it's a touristy location but not somewhere I'd go that's priced for locals on a regular basis. Honestly would only come back for those delicious fries and the beer!!!

3 - stars for the lack of hot sauce collection or dry rubs for wings. The same is so close to the "SLAP YA MOMMA's" seasoning and hot sauce.
5 stars for the service and the ambiance
We ordered the Bbq Sampler platter and two iced teas. Pulled pork, chicken, wings, ribs, brisket and sausage.
The sausage was my least favorite. We did not enjoy it. The pulled chicken and brisket were great. The rest I can say I have had much better. We also got sick from the food and we are no stranger to 9authentic BBQ joints!
The place was nicely set up with lots of fun games to keep you entertained! Kids menus with crayons and activities. Shuffle board, connect four, bean bag tossing and I'm sure more!

I really enjoyed this place. The service was really good and the food was great. The restaurant is right on the beach so the view is awesome if you dine outside. The bloody Mary was just okay. I'd definitely recommend this place to others.

This is a place that's good. Nothing special but good. Like you'd come here again type place. My experience lacks, nothing special to say. If you imagine like normal bbq this is it. You just imagined this place. If you sit out on the deck, it's a really pretty view of the water. The seat height to chair heigh ratio is a bit off. Kinda low seats. That's all.
